In the study titled "CEO Values and Corporate ESG Performance", we independently develop a CEOs' ESG-oriented values index, abbreviated as CVI, to measure CEOs' values orientations towards ESG issues. On this website, we provide a detailed explanation of how we measured, quantified, and constructed the CVI. Additionally, we disclose the final CVI scores for 756 CEOs from 449 non-financial and non-utility firms from 2013 to 2022 collected during our research, providing data for future research reference.
